Meet Chris
Chris D’Orso (he/him) has spent almost three decades helping students and families find college success. He’s worked in enrollment management and student affairs at four SUNY campuses, most recently at SUNY Brockport, where he oversaw the campus’s implementation of the Slate CRM, and before that at Stony Brook, where he ran social media for one of the top public universities in the northeast.
Chris has also worked in university advancement at the Rochester Institute of Technology, and spent one life-changing year overseeing the enrollment and advancement operations at the top-ranked independent Nursery to Grade 12 school in Rochester.
He is an openly trans/genderfluid Mets fan, baseball card collector, and pub quizmaster, and he also got his butt kicked on “Jeopardy!,” a defeat he rues to this day.
Chris is married to a wonderfully supportive woman, and they have two children currently navigating their own college journeys. They have the world’s laziest Jack Russell terrier, Kirby, and live in Penfield, New York.
